I was born and raised in Tillamook, Oregon and was graduated from Chemeketa Community College (Salem Vocational Tech, in 1965) as a Licensed Practical Nurse. I worked in the medical field for 3 years until marrying Mason and joining him as he pursued his military career.

The next 21 years were spent raising our 4 children in many stateside and overseas assignments and volunteering in support of their activities. I was a professional Classroom Mom, Cub Scout Leader, acolyte mom and chauffer. I was also active in several Officers' Wives Clubs.

We returned home to Silverton in 1989 upon Mason's retirement from the US Army. During our military service we moved 16 times and became very experienced in real estate sales and purchasing. Often we would keep ownership of a property even though we had moved on to another area. People started asking us questions and as we shared our expertise it became evident that we should consider a career as a real estate professional.

I was first licensed as a Real Estate Salesperson in 1989. I am a graduate of Norm Webb Real Estate School, Oregon Real Estate Institute and numerous continuing education seminars. I am a past President of the North Willamette Association of Realtors and served on many Realtor Boards and Committees.

I have been involved in the Silverton community; serving on the Chamber of Commerce Board, Library Budget Committee, Twilight Court Board and Senior Citizens' Center Board. I am a Deacon at our Church.

I have four grown children.

* The oldest; Mason II and his wife, Wendi live in Milwaukie, Oregon are proud parents of Sarah Lilly, 10 yrs old and Molly Rose, 7 yrs old. Mason is the first Principal of Verne Duncan Elementary School in Happy Valley and Wendi teaches first grade.

* Micha is married to Rick Christman, a millwright with Weyerhauser in Stayton and they live outside Turner, OR. They have three boys; Marshal 11 yrs old, Macoy 9 yrs and Dylan 7 yrs old.

* Matthew recently completed Officer Candidate School and is a Second Lieutenant in the Oregon National. He is a veteran of one tour in downtown Baghdad, Iraq and 3/4 of a way through his 2nd tour. He is a student at Portland State University in computer engineering, between active Army tours. Matthew is married to Jenny, a full-time RN, and they have a 2 1/2 yrs old son, Matty and a little girl Emma, 9 months.

* Meredith also is a real estate Broker at Silverton Realty, and a part-time RN at Silverton Hospital. She is married to Ryan Wertz who is a Field Specialist for a major seed company. They have a 7 year old son, Trysten, a 16 month old daughter, Marley Ginger and a new daughter, Finley Jean, 2 months.

I have many interests and will try just about anything; we most recently did the canopy tour in Mexico; that's where you hang from cables and slide from tree to tree. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my family and especially those grandchildren.

Gardening is a passion as is riding on our Harley Fat Boy with my husband as chauffer. I read when I can; sew when I need to; and can my garden produce when I have too. I also enjoy RVing and traveling.

I have over 40 years (has it really been that long?) experience in buying and selling real estate. Your real estate transaction is my highest priority. My highest compliment is to receive a referral from you, friends and family.
